The Connecticut Federation of Democratic Women will be celebrating the 85th anniversary of this organization next year. A gala event is being planned to celebrate this wonderful milestone. They were founded in 1922 by Fannie Dixon Welch.
It is possible that this is the oldest Federation in the US. Watch for event details to be posted soon.
